Hi
This is no possibility that this RPG program will be called from Java
calling RPG and this RPG calling this program.
So one way would be to find if the program is running in QUSRWRK subsystem,
How can i find the current job subsystem?

Other option I was thinking to add a PCML parameter and send "JAVA" in this field if called from java or send "RPG" if called from other RPG program.

But this will require file change, which is not good.
I would expect IBM to have some sort of way in RPGLE to tell if the program is called from Java or RPG

Could you just wrapper the RPG program and call a

Kinda of ugly.
Also, if the program is called from Java isn't it
going to be running in
the QUSRWRK subsystem?

I'm not sure that's such a great idea ... a program
could be called by another RPG program that was called from
java. Checking the subsystem or jobname wouldn't
discriminate in that case.
