The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Could you just wrapper the RPG program and call a different program from
Java, set something, and then call your RPG program. Kinda of ugly.
Also, if the program is called from Java isn't it going to be running in
the QUSRWRK subsystem?
