I am trying to insert data in a table with CCSID 5026(Japanese)
using JDBC and SQL, i get the data in XML file whichis defined in
UTF-8, so when i open the XML file in Browser i cansee proper
Japanese characters but when i insert this data intable, i get
garbage. Is there some thing i need to set in JDBCconnection
parameter or convert string before inserting. I amusing prepared
statement to insert data.
Does the user profile you are using to make the jdbc
connection with have the correct CCSID?
I'm assuming the field you are trying to put data into
is double byte enabled.
