Our development machines are either P4 2GHZ or 3.2GHZ with 1GB Ram. Performance is inconsistent and occasionally a rebuild of the workspace would help but not always. Early feedback is that the Rational 6.0 (Studio follow-on) is even hungrier and bigger. We continue to investigate our options. Our goal is simply a highly productive and quality IDE.
