This is what I've seen as well. So the more you change your signatures, the more you're likely to run into problems (of course, the idea behind OO programming is that you're not supposed to change your signatures that often, especially for mature code). Are there other IDEs that do a better job of allowing hot code changes that affect signatures? Does it have to do with the JVM or the IDE?
