        This code was changed so that we could identify problem with [] and in 
fact the pgm compiled without [] included.

        And yes the cent sign does appear as shown. The image is cut and pasted 
here from my as400 screen.

        Isn't STRANGE!!!!

At least, please include up to line 20.  Also, does the cent sign truly
