Hi,
If you try to compile it like this:
public static void main(String args) {
It should compile, but will not run, as it is not the runable main.
Only to see, if the problem comes from the [ ].

You have main(String args[]) I think you would have more success with
public static void main(String[] args) {
Note the difference in the String args !!!
