Believe me chaps, I've copied the working example and tried compiling it but no joy. However, I'm now thinking of checking PTF's and my suspicion is that we may not have all the PTF's installed. I need guidance as to where I start looking. We are on V5R1. Or perhaps he just has ignored to compare his code with a working one? Rajesh: use GO PTF and option ? (don't remember, so you have to find the right option) to check which group ptf level (java) your iSeries has.
