for some reasons I've always think that thin + MVC is the way. I would prefer the model is still coded in RPG with java as the view that provided robust UI. I just do not see internal user would like it if the UI is coded in HTML/JSP. Does anybody have any recommandation on book or web-site for what I want to do. -----Original Message----- From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of David Sent: Friday, September 10, 2004 5:24 PM To: Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 Subject: RE: MVC and applet If these are internal users why not write a thick client java application ? You could put the code on a networked drive. This also frees you from the restrictions of the Sandbox.
