Yep. Tried it, loved it, put it into production. Have you ever tried
running Websphere on a 170? FYI, don't bother. We haven't tried the
"light" version of Websphere, and we probably won't because we are very
happy with Tomcat.
The shell scripts to start and stop Tomcat just didn't seem "right" on
an AS400 (whoops, iSeries). So, I created CL's that invoke the JAVA
command with the parms that I need (which is the end result of executing
the shell scripts anyway).
