David, I don't have much experience with the as400 FTP classes, but with the Jakarta Commons Net packages it checks to see what type of system you are connecting to first because under the covers it runs ls/dir commands that are formatted differently on each platform. If you haven't invested too much time in the AS/400 FTP classes, you might try the Net package.
