Writning a text file to a remote PC. -- JAVA400-L

I have a JAVA program that is running on our 400 that should write a text
file to the IFS and a remote windows 2000 Server.  The problem is that when
I run the program it never actually creates either  file.  I get no
exceptions messages in my joblog.  Does anyone have any suggestions or
examples that I can look at that will accomplish this task.
