The servers are part of the base operating system, and so are included automatically. The client portion is basically just a couple of JAR files. The licensed product version is 5722JC1, and it is a no-charge product. The JTOpen version, as Mr. Gibbs points out, is also free and includes source. It is generally also a bit ahead of the LPP.
