I would also recommend going to this site: http://www.ignite400.org/html/opensource/was/index.htm And downloading the free tools I wrote and contributed. It provides you with standard OS/400 commands for running these WebSphere utilities. For example, there is a COMPILEJSP command that will run the JspBatchCompiler for you. Just makes it easier having a command to do it with. Hi Ross! Google on "JspBatchCompiler" and you should find some good links. The WebSphere info center might help, but my internet connection is goofy today and it's taking a long time to download the help JAR files. http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/websphere/wsappserver/ docs/as400v35/docs/ I would NOT use the pre-touch tool, because you will incur this cost every time you restart WAS. http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/websphere/wsappserver/ docs/as400v35/docs/jspprtch.html --buck _______________________________________________ This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: JAVA400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/java400-l or email: JAVA400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l.
