SapDB supports JDBC 2.0 and 3.0 with JDK 1.4

I have no affiliation with SAP or anyone other database for that matter.
Just thought I'd offer another contender to the free database
discussion.

Wow.

I am NOT impressed.

Not even PostGreSQL properly supports the JDBC2 interface. I think it's
because they're trying to do magic under the covers by using the old
JDBC1
syntax, but if that's what they're trying to do, it ain't working.

Okay, maybe I'll try MySQL a little later. I'm kind of burnt now after
bending my brain around this problem for an entire day. But it's a
pretty
sad state of affairs for the Open Source Community when the only JDBC
driver
that actually works is IBM's (JT400 supports JDBC2 quite nicely, thank
you).
