Yep, the installation leaves something to be desired. After several hours of banging around, I finally got SapDB up and running. And it's quite nice, once it's up. Very fast, and it does indeed support the JDBC2 syntax. It's kind of funny that the two companies that have actually made a free JDBC2 compliant JDBC driver available are IBM and SAP. Now I must get sleep.
