PC2, There are all kinds of pitfalls like this including Monday is 2, Calendar starts months at 0 and DateFormat starts at 1. Date and Calendar also treat year differently. That is why I wrote that the Calendar class is convoluted and you should wrap it in something -- at least that way you will be able to fix all of your bugs at once.
