RE: sluggish java program

I haven't gotten around to doing this yet, Dan, but I keep thinking there's
a way around this delay, maybe using Brad's GETURI tool.  If one of your IPL
startup programs were to use GETURI to sort of "prime the pump", it might
reduce the wait for the users.

Brad, you out there?  Do you think this would work?
