Hmmm....I wasn't aware that the ASNA VRPG product did java conversions, as they have long been in the Microsoft camp. Are you thinking of IBM's VARPG, which does? More interesting (to me anyway) would be to see how ASNA have managed to graft an Object model into RPG, to get it to fully particiapte in .Net (especially as the RPG compiler writers at IBM have said there is no way they are ever going to make RPG an OO language). Anyway, I'm going off topic again...... And an interesting side issue... does ASNA "convert" RPG specifications to Java, as well? If so, it would be interesting (sort of <grin>) to compare the Java version of an RPG program with the .NET version of the same program. OK it's not true RPG > support, but....... _______________________________________________ This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: JAVA400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/java400-l or email: JAVA400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l.
