Hmmm....I wasn't aware that the ASNA VRPG product did java conversions, as
they have long been in the Microsoft camp. Are you thinking of IBM's VARPG,
which does?

More interesting (to me anyway) would be to see how ASNA have managed to
graft an Object model into RPG, to get it to fully particiapte in .Net
(especially as the RPG compiler writers at IBM have said there is no way
they are ever going to make RPG an OO language).

Anyway, I'm going off topic again......

That's actually marginally relevant, Chris <laughing>.  And an interesting
side issue... does ASNA "convert" RPG specifications to Java, as well?  If
so, it would be interesting (sort of <grin>) to compare the Java version of
an RPG program with the .NET version of the same program.
