RE: AS/400 Web Application Servers

That's part of the problem, Royce.  I don't think there is a "recommended"
version of Tomcat for the AS/400.  The latest stable release is all you can
look for.  Tomcat 3.2.1 is the latest stable release, while Tomcat 4.0 is at
beta 3.  You can get either one from the Jakarta website:

Personally, I'm starting my own performance measurements on a wide variety
of topics.  Keep a look on this list, and then as the 400-based version of
Java400.net comes to life, look there.
