Joe & Eric Thanks for the responses, currently we have the "original" http server and Apache running with WAS 3.5.3 on a 270 so we'll add Tomcat 3.2.1 to the mix this week. Joe, have you, or are you planning tests with WAS 3.5.X vs. Tomcat? I don't think there is a "recommended" version of Tomcat for the AS/400. The latest stable release is all you can look for. Tomcat 3.2.1 is the latest stable release, while Tomcat 4.0 is at beta 3. You can get either one from the Jakarta website: http://jakarta.apache.org/site/binindex.html Have fun! Personally, I'm starting my own performance measurements on a wide variety of topics. Keep a look on this list, and then as the 400-based version of Java400.net comes to life, look there.
