Can anyone help me out here. We have a new V4R4 system which has Websphere as
part of the pre-load. When working with the configuration options we can see
that it is version 1.1. It just stalls while trying to start the Java server -
no error messages no nothing .... so ... we check IBM's web pages, the new
Redpiece etc. and they all tell us to check data area QAPPSVR/SF99027 to see
what version we're on and suggest upgrading to V2 if we're not on it already.
Here's the odd part - QAPPSVR exists all right, but there is no data area. At
first we thought this was because we hadn't ever had a group PTF so we ordered
SF99027. What turned up was the latest Cum package which included a bunch of
Java and Websphere PTFs, but no SF99027 that we can see.

Can anyone shed any light on this situation please.
