We are still pre-6.0.4, but I have never heard any reports of such exaggerated slowdowns (ten minutes?!) for the folks that I have renamed. Granted, I don't do it often in my small environment, but I think I would have heard. We have no R5 servers left on our network, so that potential cause is not present. I doubt we have many design elements that would be signed by the users, either -- other than the obvious folders, of course. That might be why we are not seeing it here. I must say, that's a pretty informative technote. Workaround is to sign the mail files with an admin ID. Currently, we manually sign mail files for users being re-cert or renamed via the admin client. Has anyone else experienced this problem and how do you handle this? Does anyone have a sleek automated process and will you share? Any ideas to save man power would be greatly appreciated.
