Riyaz (original poster) said they had tried the ODBC connection and were not happy with performance. I thought DB2 Connect and a DB2 ODBC driver were two different things? Doesn't the "driver" that comes with DB2 Connect run at a "lower level" than ODBC? Wouldn't that provide better performance than ODBC. -- Scott Johnson > -----Original Message----- > From: domino400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:domino400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Walter Scanlan > Sent: Friday, September 05, 2003 8:55 AM > To: Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 > Cc: Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400; > domino400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: LEI on NT connecting to AS/400 > > > The question was, How to connect from NT to iSeries > > Unless the DB2 request runs server side on iSeries you will > need an odbc > driver. > > Walter Scanlan > Advisory Software Engineer > Domino For iSeries > Internet WSCANLAN@xxxxxxxxxx > CLP R4, R5 and Domino 6 > Phone 507-286-6088 > > _______________________________________________ This is the Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 (Domino400) mailing list To post a message email: Domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/domino400 or email: Domino400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/domino400.
