All connectors are a variation of ODBC or JDBC spec.
This is why we have native support for DB/2 requests from a local server.

I thought DB2 Connect and a DB2 ODBC driver were two different things?
Doesn't
the "driver" that comes with DB2 Connect run at a "lower level" than ODBC?
Wouldn't that provide better performance than ODBC.
