I was waiting for you to weigh in on this one.  Riyaz (original poster) said
they had tried the ODBC connection and were not happy with performance.
I thought DB2 Connect and a DB2 ODBC driver were two different things?  Doesn't
the "driver" that comes with DB2 Connect run at a "lower level" than ODBC?
Wouldn't that provide better performance than ODBC.
