I have an agent which will slay the server on our development machine, (uniprocessor). One work around, (please, no stones), is to get a multiprocessor. That way any one task can only take up one processor. For example, on our 12way the most cpu consumed by any one task is 8%. When something hits 8%, that's a runaway job. But, the other jobs chug along just fine. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin
