Mail File Troubles

        My opinion is that your trouble with your mail files is
independent from the operating system or domino version. I think this
problem come from replication, database compaction or design template
changing. For example if u creat a folder meanwhile the design template
inheriting is disabled, when u allow the inheriting again, all the folder
was created  during this period will destroyed when the designer task run
at first time. When u moved your mail files they somehow could get new
design template inheritance settings. It's just an idea and feeling. Sorry
not to be more helpfull.
