Reeve: I agree with you. This is what I have been thinking too.
However, if this behaviour is changed, this may break many of the users who
have used to 'File->Exit' to save the settings.
I do not know if there is any documentation on this current X(close)
behaviour or not. I have not been able to find it yet if there is one.

Bottom line: "X" doesn't work the way we expect a Windows application to
work. "File|Exit without saving changes" seems to be meritorious approach.
Is there documentation describing this special behavior?
