I use the same router and STRCODE works for me.  BUT, I did have a problem
once and here's what I did to correct it.  I had to add ports in the port
forwarding option.  The problem arised because of dhcp & the ports being
forwarded were to a specific ip address.  In my case it was just as easy for
me to turn on a particular PC first but otherwise disable DHCP.

I don't open files on the host because for me it's quicker to use CPO so I
don't know if I have this problem at home - just at work.
