With all the talk about Code/400 lately, I thought I would give the demo another try since I could not get it running before (granted, I didn't spend a lot of time trying to hunt down the problem). I still cannot get it to communicate between the AS/400 and the PC. The error box that is displayed says: Unable to exchange CODE signature with host. The exchange failed due to a TCP/IP error - No data was received. This error is probably caused by the fact that you have not installed the back-end fix for CODE communications. Please install one of the following fixes and refer to the README for SP005. V3R2M0: 5763PW1 SF49534 V3R7M0, V4R1M0: 5716PW1 SF49524 V4R2M0: 5769PW1 SF49535 Since we are at V4R3, I didn't think we needed a PTF. But out of curiosity this time, I did a DSPPTF LICPGM(5769PW1) and it shows near the top of the screen: Release of base option . . . . . . . : V4R2M0 Does the release level shown in the error message refer to the OS/400 release or 5769PW1 release? I assumed they would be the same, silly me. I was very surprised when I saw this difference. Thanks!
