I do not believe the location of security key is a secret.
Prior to version 8 (LX) it was in the dataarea called either SSASEC or
SSASSC (I do not have acess to those versions). It is encrypted, bits are
stripped using SSA (Infor) proprietary algorithm and contains System serial
number, license type and expiration date if it is a temporary key.
Version 8 is a licensed program on the system and can be viewed using
WRKLICPGM command.
Regardless of that, the subject of the thread is File Key and answers were
provided by others.

Totally inappropriate here to provide explicit replies.
Why is that? He's asking for the location of the file containing the
key for the software, what possible legal sanctions could be pursued?
He's not asking how to hack an installation, he's not asking how to
bypass the license check, he's not asking any of that.
As far as the answer, I don't think it's in a file - at least in 405CD.
