Why would someone need to ask where the software key is located?
It has high security intended to block BPCS clients from access other than
via specific authorized methods.
There are many reasons associated with software piracy.
I agree for 405CD.
There's often lots of problems getting a valid key through authorized
channels, where in frustration we might want to hack it, but problems with
Infor never justify such action. What is justified is to have the lawyers
intercede to demand contractual promises fulfilled, also to remind whoever
authorizes paying the bills to Infor that they can be so slow issuing a key,
that leaving this to last minute can mean our company ERP shut down for a
few weeks, waiting on a key that works.

Totally inappropriate here to provide explicit replies.
Why is that? He's asking for the location of the file containing the
key for the software, what possible legal sanctions could be pursued?
He's not asking how to hack an installation, he's not asking how to
bypass the license check, he's not asking any of that.
As far as the answer, I don't think it's in a file - at least in 405CD.
