The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
If you have a test environment and are familiar with programming, write a
simple 10 line program that uses a printer file that has the BARCODE command
(Use DDS manual for sample). Send the output to the printer. Dot matrix
printers would probably not work, while laser printers such as HP5s have a
better chance of working. It should not be a big deal to do so. If you get
stuck, use Google for hunt down some samples.

We show CIM module installed. Are there DDS printer files using BARCODE
keywords as part of the CIM installation? Trying to unravel "the mystery".

[BPCS-L] BPCS405cd-CIMPATH/Barcoding
We are revisiting our CIMPATH installed product. I see that it writes
transactions to the NFB file. Then, it must require some PC based system to
receive a download of transactions from the NFB file, and then print out the
bar-coded transactions on a PC based printer.
That solution does not seem like a modern way to do this. Does anyone have
or know of a method to take the various NFB transactions (or directly from
BPCS programs - bypassing NFB) and get the same or similar looking bar-coded
documents on a RMTOUTQ printer?
TIA,
Don
