I used TL Ashford bar coding and CimPath (unsupported by SSA) in a 6.02 implementation (I knew it from 3.01 and 4.05). I drove literally millions of labels from the existing record formats to Printronix Theral printers. We also had inventory transactions generating labels of various kinds, as large as 8 1/2" x 11" all requiring vendor approval or to vendors specifications.

We show CIM module installed. Are there DDS printer files using BARCODE
keywords as part of the CIM installation? Trying to unravel "the
mystery".

[BPCS-L] BPCS405cd-CIMPATH/Barcoding

We are revisiting our CIMPATH installed product. I see that it writes
transactions to the NFB file. Then, it must require some PC based
system to receive a download of transactions from the NFB file, and then
print out the bar-coded transactions on a PC based printer.

That solution does not seem like a modern way to do this. Does anyone
have or know of a method to take the various NFB transactions (or
directly from BPCS programs - bypassing NFB) and get the same or similar
looking bar-coded documents on a RMTOUTQ printer?

TIA,
Don
