DeeDee, We are on 6.04, so not sure how much of this will be relevant, but for information... We built up an EDI application using various in-house written programs and bought-in 3rd party software. We took LANSA's Integrator application which gets the orders onto our server via XML documents. We then have in-house programs that get these onto our AS/400. From there we manipulate them a little and finally pass them into the BPCS ECM module where they are posted to BPCS. We don't yet export shipments back to our customers. As a couple of our programmers became more adept at .NET programming, we have since replaced the LANSA Integrator application with more in-house programs written in .NET But LANSA gave us a good start to begin with. Once the orders are loaded into ECM, they flow into BPCS seamlessly. Hope some of this may be of help. Hi All, Anyone out there still on BPCS 4.05 CD w/ an EDI package that imports orders and exports shipments (ASNs) somewhat automatically to & from BPCS? Ideally, I'd like to purchase EDI software that comes with an off-the-shelf interface to/from BPCS 4.05 CD... We are considering going to LX 8.4, then acquiring ECM ~just looking at other alternatives. Our EDI orders are makeup less than 10% of our sales, but the few trading partners we do interact via EDI, are key to our company... Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
