DeeDee,

If you change the item type from a stocked sub-assembly to a phantom
(item type 0).

Then the system will create the material requirements for the
sub-assemblies that are not in inventory regardless of the allocation
status.

I do not believe that there is a way in any version of BPCS or ERPlx to
have the system explode the labor requirements for the sub assemblies
regardless of item type.

Subject: [BPCS-L] Exploding Material and Labor Requirements on Shop
Orders...

Hi All,

Is there a way to create a shop order that will also produce material
and labor requirements for sub-assemblies that are out of stock or hard
allocated?

We are on 4.05 CD, but are also very interested in hearing from members
on versions of 6, 8, and/or LX. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
