Re: 24 hour working

In most of my past experiences, most of my clients that have had the
24/7 requirement, have opted for either the save while active, or to
simply "shut down" production for the length of time it takes to save
only the files libraries in the production BPCS environment.

I recommend a full library(s)save and not save changed object, for if
disaster happens the full save is much more reliable to recover from.

We are being asked to provide BPCS 24 x 7 by several of our sites.  What
products are you guys using and how do you manage it. ? The initial
requirement is for very simple barcode swiping which needs to update
BPCS
when available again. We have traditionally avoided the
save-while-active
options for our overnight backups. I remember seeing a product to
perform
file reorgs on the fly (can't remember the name), is anyone  using this
?
