A coworker and I have implemented Cyposoft at my company within the past year at two facilities for about 25 data collection points. With a RF scanner or stationary pc, we can do standard inventory transactions, mass location transfers, purchase order receipts, interplant receipts, material status, create and close shop orders, shipping, physical inventory, and production reporting. We have plans do to even more as we identify areas within the company that can be improved. All this is done through the actual BPCS program and not a program that attempts to duplicate the BPCS transaction. This is important to us as bmrs or upgrades are applied, we or someone else do not have to retrofit an external program. We also implemented this solution for less than half the price of others we looked at. I would be happy to discuss my experience with you.
