You should also expect better performance with V6.1 than with V6.0.04 because of
some conceptual changes as well as more efficient code. In addition, SSA has
just released V6.1.01 which contains significant number of fixes on top of
V6.1.00, with strong intentions to make product stable asap and puts behind
problems from the previous releases so that R&D can concentrate on future
improvements of the product. So, if you can afford to go to V6.1 I would also
recommend option 2.

I Recommend you go to 6.1 GA it is much stable and less code in it
actually they removed all BMR reference that was in 6.04 and insome cases
they redone some of the programs
