Hi,

Sounds like somebody/something has an exclusive lock on the object.

Use the WRKOBJLCK OBJ(NEWILIB/NWILOG) OBJTYPE(*FILE) MBR(LOG)  command to
see who or what has the lock on the object.

You can view details of the job holding the lock including its job log etc
easily enough.

Then determine whether you can terminate that process/job.
