I'm not sure what you are saying.  

If you are referring to Hyper PTF's, no I don't look at them & I know I
should.  

When I put cum C9292420 on Friday, it had several defective ptf's listed
that I did not load.  I do read through the cum install instructions front
to back & I've learned never to take anything for granted.  I also download
& read through the PSP and see just what might apply to me.  I just can't
afford to screw up my production system with bad ptf's. 

I do try to keep current with the database ptf's due to all the changes IBM
is doing to improve SQL functionality & response times.

        You've got to watch those CUM's.  I've seen individual PTF's for
_SERIOUS_ 
        problems that didn't make it into a CUM for over a year!
