Pick Release (ORD550) -- BPCS-L

I have a client live on V6.0.02 PLF Mixed Mode AS/400.  They pick about 5000
order lines per / day and have typical customer orders of 150 - 200 order
lines.  They have multiple, concurrent users generating pick slips through
Pick Release (ORD550) throughout the day.  Response time could be better.  Has
anyone else faced this issue and if so, any suggestions?
