We have version 4.04 on a V3R7 RISC box and we get "Support" from SSA. In fact, when we upgraded from CICS to RISC, we saw absolutly zero performance gain Interactively (about 10% Batch) -- which everybody said can't happen. IBM and SSA both pointed to each other and said "Its their fault" which didn't surprise me in the least. SSA just last month committed to fixing the problem (We upgraded last December), so I guess we are still supported (as SSA defines it) I guess Attachmate and HP have ruined me in what to expect from Customer Support operations... -- John Allen -- O'Brien International > -----Original Message----- > From: Glenn Ericson [SMTP:Glenn-Ericson@att.net] > Sent: Sunday, September 28, 1997 10:02 AM > To: BPCS-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: SSA, BPCS, RISC and "HelpLine" and "last release > supported... > > > Not supporting BPCS on RISC would be > absurd and "tantamount" to shooting ones self for pleasure!!! > > At 06:04 PM 9/27/97 +0000, you wrote: > >DAsmussen@aol.com wrote: > >> > >> Not aware, but not suprised either.
