Paul even had a version for RPG II, though I think Julian Monypenny actually
wrote that version. If I recall correctly (heaven knows at this st/age) I
even wrote an article about it for Midrange Computing. One of the few
things that I remember is that you could define your own tokens. I liked to
define null tokens so that I could code things like:

CHAIN using KEYS to FILEA

Where 'to' and 'using' were null tokens. Verbose, I know.

Paul even had an IDE that ran on the PC that encompassed RPG II/III/Free
syntax. Never got around to writing that article, but it was pretty
revolutionary for its time. Again can't remember the details (this was late
80's or early 90's) but it probably didn't have all of the bells and
whistles of RDp.
