And that's a function that's currently available in the language. Actually, I suspect that an OO framework could potentially be developed without too much difficulty using only existing language facilities, if someone thinks it's really worth the effort. That is, an OO style of programming can be facilitated with the functionality provided by procedures. Again, IMO that's an effort best left for the RPG community.

Well, I didn't intent to make a "blanket" endorsement of Booth's statement. Clearly, RPG is more than a simple "report generator". But as I've said, the language can only be pushed so far, IMO.
