in my career 30+ years, I've only applied a individual Hyper Group once or twice.  And that was only because we actually had an  issue (previous employer).  Otherwise, I only update them during the cumulative.
I take a conservative view on PTF's in General.  I'll do my Cumulative s a couple times a year, otherwise, if it's not broke, don't fix it.
I know this approach isn't for everyone.  People need to decide which approach is best for them.
