log on attempt rejected after a move to a new system...

first things i'd check are:
- are they connecting to the right system (any ip changes ?)
- are they using the right user id and password

I'd check the profile was enabled and issue a new password before moving on
to some of the other suggestions.

They are getting a 530 log on attempt by user xxxx rejected.

IBM website indicates an authorization problem, perhaps to a library.
They
are authorized to their home directory.

I'm not seeing any errors in the FTP server joblogs. How can I figure out
what they need authorization for to logon as FTP user?

Thanks, Jack
