I didn't try ECS because I thought that definitely required a maintenance agreement. I expect the problem will be logged but I'll get a call from support again saying no maintenance == no support.

I know that a customer on a currently supported release can order existing PTFs without a maintenance contract but they cannot do so electronically--have to phone or fax. Maybe that's changed too.

I might try this anyway and see what happens.
