Mark,

The V5R4 Software Installation Manual shows that Option 3 is located on the
CD labeled B29MM_03. Make sure you have this CD and did not skip it when
loading the CDs to verify your software order for the the target release.

"B29MM_03 i5/OS no-charge options This standard set media contains the
no-charge option 3, i5/OS - Extended Base Directory Support."

Extended Base Directory Support is installed at V5R3 but not on V5R4
installation media.

Done some quick searching but exactly what is Option 3 used for?  --->
before I panic......
