Using the iSeries provider isn't any different than using the other .Net
providers. You create the connection, and then use commands to run sql
statements that can return result sets. Result sets are handled by
iDB2DataReader unless you spin them out to a DataSet.

You simply need to provide the connection string to tell .Net where to
get it's data. This should get you started:

iDB2Connection cn = new
iDB2Connection("DataSource=YourAS400;userid=me;password=secret;libraryli
st=lib1,lib2,lib3;naming=system"

Of course I recomment you "softcode" the connection string in a .config
file. I did a series of iSeries Experts Journal articles on connection
to the 400 w/.Net 2 years ago, if you subsribe I believe you have access
to the old articles.
